Hello, I am Laura.

After my experience serving diverse industries in both Big 4 accounting, national and local levels, I created Athena CPAs with a vision to establish an accounting firm to help entrepreneurs succeed by scaling their companies. With my years of practice, I have incorporated the best practices I have learned to create a more efficient, effective business model. My dream is to build an innovative organization that uses the latest technology to build a vivid, collaborative relationship with my clients while providing value, excellence, and financial empowerment.

Athena CPAs provide clients with outstanding service and a customized customer experience. I have had the pleasure to work closely with clients in various industries, including health coaching, attorneys, shop owners, and many others. I am especially passionate about working with women entrepreneurs by providing guidance and tools for them to achieve their goals.

I am a University of South Florida alumnus, where I earned both my bachelor’s in accounting and finance and a Master's in accounting. In 2015, I attained my CPA in Florida. I have been happily married for more than 7 years to my amazing husband, Sebastian, and we have a wonderful son Leo and two energetic dog pups, Mia & Mateo. In addition, I am a fan of weight training, bodybuilding, cooking, and reading.
